Cultural Awareness Training:

Treaty People Talks

We believe that everyone who calls Canada home does so as Treaty People. That’s why we invite individuals and organizations to join Treaty People Talks—interactive and compassionate workshops designed to foster meaningful learning and understanding.

Why Choose Treaty People Talks

01.

A Journey of Continuous Learning

Cultural awareness training often repeats introductory content without building participants' knowledge. Our workshops are different. Each session explores unique themes and perspectives, ensuring knowledge deepens over time. By partnering with us throughout the year, you build trust with our team and avoid the stagnation that comes from restarting with a new provider.

02.

Relationship-Based Education

Real learning requires trust and openness. Our annual workshop cycle fosters relationships between participants and our team of Indigenous experts, creating a safe space to ask genuine questions and challenge unconscious biases. In this heart-centered learning environment, participants gain the compassion and understanding necessary to address the challenging realities of Canada's history, the present-day experiences of Indigenous peoples, and the path toward reconciliation.

03.

Interactive and Customizable Experiences

Our workshops are not passive lectures—they are engaging, interactive, and discussion-driven. We use polls, visuals, and structured Q&A sessions, ensuring no question is off-limits when asked with respect and genuine intent. For added flexibility, we offer entirely customized workshops tailored to your organization’s goals and team needs.

04.

Authentic Indigenous Representation

Each workshop is co-hosted by experts representing at least two of the three Indigenous Peoples in Canada (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis). This ensures participants receive a multi-faceted and authentic perspective on Indigenous topics, reflecting the diversity of experiences and cultures across Canada’s Indigenous communities.
